'There is Something Happening Here' and What It Is, becomes more and more clear, And, it ain't pretty. In fact it's rather ugly. It is movement at the highest levels of U.S. Government towards Tyranny, Fascism, and hoped-for Dictatorship.

Here you will find continued observation and comment on movement away from democratic, constitutional government and erosion of liberty as MAGA Madness descends into Tyranny. 

‘On Tyranny’    Prof. Timothy Snyder Yale Univ. - Prof. Snyder describes Tyranny-  ‘ the use of government power for the private ends of the people running government rather than the public good of society as a whole’. Among various examples of Pres. Trump's misuse of power for ‘private ends,’ we have Pres. Trump owning several resort properties where U.S. and foreign governments and Investors pay for lodging.

Why would anyone for a moment believe that Donald J. Trump would obey an oath ‘to faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States’ when he brazenly & repeatedly failed to do so during his first term? Lawmakers have argued that the President’s oath requires them to execute all laws, regardless of whether the President believes them to be constitutional.

One of Trump's first moves was to issue an Unconstitutional Executive Order revoking Birthright Citizenship for the children of Undocumented Immigrants born in the U.S.  The 14th Amendment to the U,S. Constitution grants Citizenship to anyone born here,

It should be noted - Donald J. Trump neglected to place his hand on the Bible at any point during his Jan. 20th 2025 Inauguration. What conclusions can we draw there ?

Pro-Democracy Advocates in the public arena urge those of us who long for Liberty and Justice to speak-up and speak-out to promote Democracy. So Be It.
