Unconstitutional Crisis/Trump Delayed

 It is completely bizarre that a movement which claims to ‘Make America Great…’ supports an Administration that is bent on crippling the life-saving services that America provides at home and around the world which serve to “Make America Great”.

At home, NIH programs which fund life-saving Cancer Research are slashed. At the same time, US AID programs which work to eradicate everything from AIDS to Starvation around the globe are ordered shut by MAGA Extremists.

Another target for Trump’s unconstitutional actions – the Department of Education.

DOE

DOE is yet another agency requiring congressional action to eliminate. It is reported that even in the rough draft of the plan, Congressional Authority is mentioned. Therefore, Trump plans to defund and shrink the Department to the brink of collapse, with or without Congressional consent.

It appears, that for now anyway, the brakes are being tapped. U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour, a Reagan appointee, called out Trump in a decision against the Administration’s Birthright Citizenship Battle:

“It has become ever more apparent that, to our president, the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals. The rule of law is, according to him, something to navigate around or simply ignore, whether that be for political or personal gain” WaPo

The Coughenour Decision came days after a federal judge in Maryland made a similar Ruling. (U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman)

Trump, speaking of recent court rulings (On Fox News), said, ‘They’re crazy’. There he is folks, the U.S. President with his savvy appraisal of a U.S. District Court Ruling. [!]

Ultimately, perhaps, barring Legislative intervention, the matter will be decided upon in the Trump-friendly Supreme Court.

NYT   ‘Vice President JD Vance declared on Sunday that “judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power,” delivering a warning shot to the federal judiciary…’.

JD Vance is a Yale Univ. Law School Grad. He knows Dam Well that Courts under our Constitutional Republic are deigned to serve as a Check, impose Limits on Presidential Authority. His saying otherwise is just MAGA-Fodder to provoke a Genuine, for-Real, Constitutional Confrontation.
