4 G.O.P. Join Discharge Petition. (ACA)

 

4 G.O.P. House Members joined in with their Democratic colleagues to pass a Discharge Petition which compels the Speaker of the House to bring a proposed Bill to the House Floor for a Vote.

The proposed Bill would preserve Tax Credits for those enrolled in Affordability Care Act Insurance (ACA) Plans. Cuts to these Credits and Federal Support for ACA were cut (set to Expire in January of 2026), as part the Trump/GOP ‘Big Beautiful Bill’. (Beautiful, Right?)

The 4 Republicans who switched from GOP support for the ‘Big Beautiful….’, to the Democrat-led Petition, are in Swing Districts and don’t dare face their Voters having Signed a Bill which ends Federal support of ‘Obama-Care’. These cuts would cost American Taxpayers, Thousands of Dollars in Insurance Fees causing Financial Distress and resulting in many thousands of Americans to be without Healthcare Insurance. (Beautiful).

In discussing President Trump’s concern for U.S. Taxpayers and Healthcare concerns, John Heilman commented on MSN Now (Deadline White House with Nicolle Wallace 12/17),

Meanwhile, as the Congressional year-end break fast-approaches, GOP Republicans waste precious Time, Attention and Energy on a bogus Hearing on former Special Counsel Jack Smith.

And what a blunder that has been. It’s a ‘Closed Door’ Hearing, but the door is more like a Screen door than anything else. Lots of information ‘leaking’ out. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/17/jack-smith-trump-deposition-congress-00694730

It’s almost as if Congressional Republicans are deliberately set to publicly embarrass Trump in order to weaken him as Party Leader. Jack Smith’s testimony was a damning Indictment, (literally), of President Trump’s profound Criminal Conduct. Citing clear and convincing actual Evidence of Trump’s attempt to Overturn a free and fair Presidential Election, and forcefully disrupt Congressional Certification of that Election.
