As a great American, who happened to be British, said “These are the times that try men's souls” – a quote from Thomas Paine's The American Crisis pamphlet series. (December 1776)

Indeed. A more politically appropriate phrase now would be …’ Try One’s Soul’

Nonetheless, the same rings true today. Paine wrote the phrase in a pamphlet entitled ‘American Crisis’. Today’s American Crises is Donald Trump, and his completely willing and enthusiastic co-conspirator, Elon Musk:

Musk’s Trump-Approved Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), is not a Real Government Agency just because Musk and Trump say it is.

A Real Government Agency is Authorized and Funded by the U.S. Congress, a step DOGE has not undergone.

Nevertheless, Musk, whom we can only suppose is some kind of Director or Executive of this make-believe Department, has had Top-Level and Top Secret Clearance and Access to State Dept. and Treasury Dept. Records.

The Acting U.S. Attorney for The District of Columbia today issued a directive calling for information about anyone who interfered with DOGE Employees attempting to gain access to federal agencies.  What that Acting U.S. Attorney doesn’t get is that Only Real Departments have Actual Employees, make-believe Departments only have Make-Believe ones.

At State, Musk had access to Top-Secret Level Records.

 At Treasury, he gained access to personal data of several Hundred Thousand Social Security Retirement and Disability Payment Records.

Another Target for Trump’s Retribution is the FBI. Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove on Friday ordered Mr. Brian Driscoll, Acting FBI Director, to compile a list of all current and former FBI employees assigned “at any time” to the investigation of the    Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol for review, “to determine whether any additional personnel actions are necessary.” Brian Driscoll Refused to comply and is now reported to be ‘on thin ice’ at FBI.
