GOP – Appalling.

 7/1/25 ‘Day of Infamy’ 

The GOP Controlled Senate today approved H.R.1, formerly known as Trump’s ‘Big beautiful....’. In a 50-50 Senate vote, with VP Vance casting the deciding vote, one of the more dreadful Bills ever passed, moves back to the House of Representatives for a final appalling, dreadful vote. 

Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer, (NY), in at least a small victory, was able to Move that the label ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ be dropped as ‘inappropriate’ for Senate Legislation. 

By passing the Bill, Senate Republicans once again show to anyone paying attention, just how despicable and untrustworthy they really are. Truly Appalling. 

As Reported, the measure strips Billions of dollars from the Social Safety Net in Medicaid and SNAP (Food Stamps) for the poor in This Great Nation. The ’Savings’ then, from providing Healthcare to the Nation's Elderly Ill, and Malnourished Children, go on to fund Tax cuts for the Wealthiest Individuals and Corporations in America. ‘May you live in interesting times’, indeed. Appalling. Sinful. 

In speaking of God, a famous Prophet intoned -’What you do for the least of Us, you do for Me’. Hopefully all the self-righteous, so-called ‘Christian’ Senators and Representatives will remember this on their way to Hell. Appalling.
